justpen-browser-mcp¶
Stealth-patched Firefox via Camoufox, exposed as MCP browser tools with per-instance session isolation.
justpen-browser-mcp exposes a stealth-patched Firefox (via Camoufox) to MCP-aware clients as a set of browser automation tools. Every named instance runs its own Camoufox process with its own BrowserForge fingerprint — cookies, storage, and cache do not leak between instances — so a single server process can drive parallel logged-in flows for different users or tenants.
60-second quickstart¶
Requires Python 3.11–3.13. See the installation guide for platform requirements.
Install with uv inside your Python project:
uv add "justpen-browser-mcp @ git+https://github.com/justpenkit/[email protected]"
Run the server (stdio transport); startup selects and verifies the newest compatible official Camoufox release. A temporary mirror supplies the fixed beta.31 CI build while upstream is older; equal or newer official releases automatically take priority. See browser selection.
uv run justpen-browser-mcp
Register with an MCP client using the installed environment's absolute Python path (generic form):
{
"mcpServers": {
"justpen-browser": {
"command": "/absolute/path/to/.venv/bin/python",
"args": ["-m", "justpen_browser_mcp"]
}
}
}
Replace the path with your project's interpreter; see the client guides below for client-specific setup.
